Shoo-Fly Pie in PA
The Shoo-Fly Pie Eating Contest will be held on June 24 in Lancaster, PA
(www.shooflypiecontest.com. Tim Janus currently holds the shoo-fly pie-eating title and world record.
Janus, who is expected to defend his title this year, is a sweets specialist who also owns the tiramisu-eating record.
The event will br broken down into two rounds.
AMATEUR ROUND (Noon)
* First Prize: $250 mall gift card, a custom trophy and lots of recognition!
* Second Prize: $10 mall gift card
* Third Prize: $5 mall gift card
IFOCE ROUND (12:30pm)
* First Prize: $2,000 cash prize, a custom "Heavy-Weight Title Belt and the world distinction as "Heavyweight Shoo-Fly Pie Champion".
* Second Prize $500 cash prize
* Third Prize $100 cash prize
